Ability Focused Yoga

Ability focused yoga practice is where your yoga goals are focused on a unique area of different ability. It is what we might also call yoga for disability. The yoga practice could be for a group of people with similar different ability, say five people all with wheelchairs or it could be a one-on-one private class just for you. A ‘one-on-one can also include a carer or support person and still be a ‘private’ class.

As each class deals with unique needs an appropriate venue will be arranged. This can include your home, an accessible studio venue or it could be at an organisation that supports the individual already.

Classes can be incorporated into an NDIS package as a social engagement for groups and for individuals as personal fitness or having therapeutic benefit.
